It’s with deepest regret and sadness that we announce the passing of David James Adams peacefully with his daughter by his side on August 9, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton.

He was the loving husband for over 60 years to Linda, who will miss him dearly.  Was a wonderful father to Tricia, Doug and daughter in-law Cindy.  Was a proud grandfather to Sean, Brendan, Erin, Stephanie, Andrew and great grandfather to Merana, Eleanor and James.  He will be missed by his dear younger sister Gail, brother in-law Wayne,   nephew Ryan, niece Erin and her husband Dixon.  Dave will also be fondly remembered by all other family members, dear friends and all that got to know him.

Dave worked for Ford Motor Company for 35 years in finance.  He was lucky to be able to retire in his early 50’s so he could enjoy life by going to Florida in the winters for many years and to enjoy spending time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed golfing, tennis, playing cards, spending time with his grandchildren and tinkering with his trains.

We will be having a celebration of his life and will announce it at a later date.
