Here’s what you can expect over the next few days. We’ll handle the details so you don’t have to.
Contact Us
We ask a few simple questions, explain what happens next, and make sure you know exactly what is included.
Arrange Simple Cremation
We walk you through the Simple Cremation package, complete required forms with you, and schedule the cremation. Most families complete this in about an hour, often entirely from home.
Paperwork & Permits
After the cremation, we help you with CPP, Death Benefit, and survivor forms, key cancellations, and a simple estate checklist.
Begin Your Arrangement
One all-in package, arranged from home.
We offer one clear package for simple cremation, arranged from home by phone or online. There is no obligation to come in. No sales pressure. No packages built around things you do not want.
Our Simple Cremation includes honourable care of your loved one, a cremation casket, and transportation from the place of death to our facility and then to the crematorium. We register all required documents with the Province of Ontario, obtain the Coroner’s authorization for cremation, provide proof of death certificates to help settle the estate, and assist with CPP Death Benefit and Survivors Benefit applications at no extra charge.
Once cremation has taken place, your loved one’s remains are returned to you. The price you see is the price you pay. No hidden fees. No surprise add-ons.
Respectful care and professional conduct are part of how we work. They carry no price tag because they are not optional. Our goal is a simpler, less expensive, and more convenient tribute to your loved one, handled with the same care families have trusted from Dermody’s for over a century.
