Helen Barbe

It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Helen Barbe (nee Norris) in her 90th year. Wife of Leo, mother of John (Diane), and Judy (Ken Ambler).  Grandmother of: Miku, Leo, Kaili (Stephen); Bobby (Ashley), Andy, Christine (Will); Jennifer, Matthew, Victoria and great grandmother to: Joey, Evan, Eric, Lola, Annie, William and Avery. Predeceased by her parents Jean and Peter Norris as well as her siblings John and Albert.

She was a women of deep and abiding faith. Her life was bounded by family, community and her church. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. John the Baptist in Garson and later St. Matthews of Oakville a devote member of the Catholic Womens League. She loved family, parties and fun. 

A fFuneral Mass will be held at St. Matthews Church in Oakville 1150 Monks Passage on Friday September 27th at 11:00am. Private Family interment to follow in the coming months.
