Stanley Howard Smith

April 17, 1943 - December 08, 2024

It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Howard Smith in his 82nd year on Sunday December 8, 2024 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton. Stan passed away peacefully after a 12 year battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Survived by his wife Mary of 57 years and four sons, Steven(Susan), David, Jason(Jen), Adam(Dana); and his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jack, Whitney and Eli. Stan grew up on a local farm with a large family; sister Verna(Ron), brother Jim(Kathy), brother Allan(Chev), brother Gary(Holly). Predeceased by his father Belford, mother Dorothy, brother Donald and his sister Evelyn. Many thanks to the staff of Juravinski Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers please send any donations to Ancaster Community Services. A celebration of life will take place in the new year.
