Diane Eleanor Tibbetts

February 3, 1937 - July 17, 2026

Diane passed away on July 17, 2026, at the age of 89, surrounded by her family in Hamilton where she spent the last two years.  Born in Halifax and graduated from the Children’s Hospital school of nursing in 1958. She was an avid gardener and loved to bake and share with family and friends. Diane is survived by her daughter Heather Gaudet (Mike), and daughter in law Emma Tibbetts, her grandchildren, Jeff Gaudet (Sumaya), Dave Gaudet (Nicole) and Jenna Worth and seven great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her Parents John and Patricia Smith (Hook), husband George Fraser Tibbetts and son Rob Fraser Tibbetts. Cremation taken place.  In memory of Diane donations to Hope for Wildlife or a charity of your choice is appreciated.
