Judith Berglund

August 10, 1948 - June 23, 2026

With the deepest sadness we share the passing of Judith. Predeceased by her husband, Bruce, they married in Sweden in 1971 while travelling across Europe for a year in their Bedford van. Her greatest sources of joy were her children Kristian (Sarah), Julia (Caleb), Tyler, her grandson Erik, and sister Kathy. She spoke fondly of her time at McMaster University where she met lifelong friends then worked as a librarian after graduation. She was selfless and strong, enjoyed reading books and the local newspaper, always collecting articles of special interest to those she gave them to. She loved live music and dancing, gardening outside, sighting luxury sports cars, driving to Port Dover to watch the boats come and go and to celebrate Friday the 13th. She will always be in our thoughts whenever we hear a motorcycle roar by.

Her wish was to pass on in her beautiful home, designed by her husband and built on a wooded lot, where she delighted in seeing all the wildlife each day. The family would like to thank the CareGiving community for their kindness, conversation, and professionalism during her brief battle with cancer.
