Herbert Joseph Hauser

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Herbert Joseph Hauser Jr. who gained his wings on January 11th, 2026 in his 104th year at St. Joseph’s Villa.

 Born November 21st, 1922. Herbert is survived by his loving, devoted wife Margaret (nee Larivière) of 75 years, his children Bryan, Catherine (Mark), Paul Hauser, his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was pre deceased by his parents Herbert Sr., Catherine (nee, Doerr), his siblings Murray and Alice, children Dennis, Patricia (Tarasca) and grandson Michael. 

Herbert a.k.a Herb, Herbie, served overseas in WWII. He was a true gentleman who enriched so many lives with his many talents, kindnesses, generosity and love. He was active in many sports in his prime and loved the Bulldogs. He enjoyed his time at the cottage and liked to reminisce about his days at the farm.

 His legacy will live on through the love and memories shared by all who knew him. A special thank you to his granddaughter Julie, for ensuring he received the best medical care, along with the many staff who cared for him from Tulip Garden at St. Joseph’s Villa. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
