John Van Rooijen

February 28, 1951 — April 24, 2024

John Van Rooijen, of Ancaster, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2024, after a courageous battle with AML. He is survived by his wife Anne, of 55 years and daughter Kristin (Steve) and his much-loved grandchildren Lauren and Jimmy.
John immigrated from Holland in 1951 and as a teenager began a lifelong career with the TD Bank. In retirement he enjoyed his family, golf and being outdoors in his gardens.
John was predeceased by his parents, brothers Gerald and Joe. He is survived by two sisters, Sharon Verhoef and Janneke Murray and their families.
Private interment has taken place as per his wishes. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
