After a brave journey with ovarian cancer, Kathleen Grace Webster, of Hamilton Ontario, in her 61st year, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born to Walter and Melita Mohr in Kediri, Indonesia and was the cherished sister to Philip (Norma), Daniel (Rachelle), and Timothy. She was a loving and devoted wife to Ernie Webster for 30 years. She is also survived and was dearly loved by nieces and a nephew, Erin (Rob), Andrea (Nick), Allison (Caleb), Erik (Catherine), Elaina, and Kiara and 8 great nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends who will deeply miss her.
Kathleen lived for many years in Scotland and then Calgary, Alberta before moving back to Hamilton to help care for her mother and brother, Tim. She spent her career teaching English as a second language, helping newcomers integrate their professions into Canadian culture. Kathleen’s heart was as vast as her spirit, always reaching out to those around her with warmth and compassion. She was a woman of integrity, kindness, and unwavering loyalty, making lasting connections with everyone she met. Whether spending time with her family, friends, volunteering in her community, or enjoying simple pleasures, Kathleen's presence was one that brought joy to all.
A Celebration of Life service for Kathleen will be held on Saturday, August 23rd at Philpott Church, 84 York Blvd., Hamilton. Visitation begins at 10 am, the service will be at 11am with a light luncheon to follow. Her family invites all who knew her to join them in honoring her memory.
Special thanks to Dr. Reade and staff at Juravinski Hospital, for all their care and treatment during Kathleen’s illness, staff at Bayshore Community Care, and the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp hospice in Hamilton, a cause close to Kathleen's heart after spending beautiful and tranquil moments being taken care of by the staff there, Compassion Canada, or Ovarian Cancer Canada.

Kathleen loved Jesus and was ready to enter His loving arms to spend eternity with him. Her favorite scripture passage that was her guiding light in her life’s journey is:
“I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.”
