Carrigan, Mary Lou (nee Spaxman)

Passed away peacefully with Family by her side on January 24, 2026, in her 73rd year. She was born in Hamilton on October 16,1952. She is survived by Her loving husband of 48 years, Tony Carrigan. Cherished mother of Jim (Melanie), Mike (Ashley) and Dave (Kristen). Devoted Grandma of Ella, Ava, Lily, Addison, Jackson and Olivia. Caring sister of Linda Walker, Michael (Mick) Spaxman, and John Spaxman.

Mary Lou was the President and volunteer for years with the Hamilton Minor Hockey Association while her boys played hockey, and for many years after. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading.

Special thanks to the staff at Grace Villa Retirement home and the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton.

A Celebration of life will be held at Ye Olde Squire, 550 Fennell Ave E Hamilton on Saturday February 21st from 12.00pm to 4.00PM. All are invited to come out and celebrate.
