Ray Sanderson

It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ray Wesley Sanderson. He left this world peacefully on September 16, 2025. Born in Greenwich, Kings, Prince Edward Island on June 19, 1936. He was the son of the late Harry Sanderson and Hazel Battersby.

Beloved husband of Sarah (MacInnis). Loving father of Andy (Karen), Sherry (Marc), David. Grandfather to Alicia (Terry), Aaron (Cindy), Jessica (Johnny), Danielle, Bailee (Noah), Brooke (Taj), Devan (Dawson). Step Grandfather to Allison (Tyler). Great Grandfather to Wesley, Sarahlee, Kalex, Maddie, Tommy, Charli and Lana. Step Great Grandfather to Vaida and Max. Survived by sister Doreen and Guy and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Hilda, Cora, Doris, Neta, Freda, Clarence, Watson, Kenneth, Lawrence and Sidney.

The Sanderson Family would like to extend their gratitude to the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital and the Palliative care unit.

There will be a Celebration of Ray's life in Prince Edward Island at a later date.
